Born 21 January 1777 at Swarkeston/Repton, Derby County, England. Died 22
January 1863 in Forks Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. Emigrated from England to America
with his brother, John, arriving at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 5 September
1801. Remained at White Hall for
a year before moving to what is now Elkland in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania.

Born 29 September 1789 at Duffield, Derby County,
England. Died 26 December 1851. Her father was among the early settlers at
Monroe in Forks Township, Sullivan County; his farm was later owned by U. M.
