Elizabeth Christman: Born 22 February 1732 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania (also seen: b. there on 13 Dec 1733); baptized 21 January 1734 at St. Augustus Lutheran Church, Trapp Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  Died 30 March 1777 in Vincent Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred there in Rhodes Cemetery.  Married Johannes/John Haas/Hause (b. 1733, d. 1803) on 12 March 1761 in Vincent Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania and had 6 children.

 

c. Felix Christman: Born 1733 in Pennsylvania.  Died 18 June 1795 in Vincent Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.  Employed as a blacksmith.  Married Rebecca Melchior on 19 August 1760

George Christman: Born 2/3 May 1739 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  Died 12 February 1812; interred East Vincent Reformed Church Cemetery, Vincent Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.  Confirmed 20 April 1755 in the New Hanover Lutheran Church, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  Employed as a carpenter and millwright.  Veteran of the American Revolutionary War (Capt Snyder's Company, 2nd Battalion, Chester County Militia).

 

f. Henry/Heinrich Christman: Born 15 December 1744 in Frederick Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  Died 16 September 1823 in Kemberton Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, East Pikeland Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.  Employed as a saddler.  Henry Christman married Susanna Keeley on 6 August 1767 in New Hanover Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Born 1737 in Montgomery Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  Died 27 February 1804 in Frederick Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred Zion Reformed Church Cemetery, Pottstown Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; probate 3 March 1804.  Confirmed 20 May 1753 in the Lutheran Church, New Hanover, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

 

1790 US Census: Jacob Chrisman was heading a household in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  The household included 2 white males ages 16 and up, 4 white males under age 16, and 5 white females.

Born 21 March 1744 in Vincent Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania; daughter of Simon (b. 1713 in Germany, d. 1785 in Vincent Twp, Chester Co., PA; interred there in Vincent Reformed Church Cemetery) and Anna Magdalena (Shimer) Shunk (b. 1723 in Germany, d. 23 Jan 1759 in Vincent Twp; interred Augustus (Old Trappe) Lutheran Church Cem., Trappe Twp, Montgomery Co., NY).  Died 20 November 1822 in Limerick Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  Married Jacob Christman in 1757 in the Reformed Church, Faulkner Swamp, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania (also seen: m. New Hanover Twp, Montgomery Co., PA).

(1. Elizabeth Ickes: Born 7 October 1787 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  Married Peter Hench (b. 1781) in 1809 and had the following children:

 

(a. George Hench: Born 31 January 1810 in Pennsylvania.

 

(b. Nicholas Hench: Born 26 September 1811.

 

(c. Samuel Hench: Born August 1813 in Pennsylvania.

 

(2. Samuel Ickes: Born 29 March 1789 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  Died 3 November 1857 in Monmouth Township, Warren County, Illinois.  Married Katie Shoemaker and had the following children:

Catherine Ickes married Paul Shreffler (b. 1795/abt 1790) in Ickesburg Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania and had the following children:

 

(a. George H. Schreffler: Born about 1816 in Pennsylvania.  Died before 1880.

George Schreffler married Mary Stoner (b. Apr 1817 in OH, d. 19 Nov 1897 in Bloomfield Twp, Mitchell Co., KS; interred there in New Hope Cemetery), daughter of John and Rebecca (?) Stoner, on 16 May 1839 in Richland County, Ohio.

(c. Henry Shreffler: Born 1 November 1834 in Richland County, Ohio.
