George went from LeRaysville to Chicago, Illinois to study electricity at the Coyne Electrical School there.He had met Ruth Lavinia Grace of Detroit when Ruth and her mother traveled to LeRaysville, New York to visit George's Aunt Martha (Cool) Slater, who lived across and up the road a short distance toward Evans Mills from George's parents.

 

c. George had a vacation cottage on Walpole Island in the St. Clair River.
