1870 US Census: William Danforth, age 39 (b. NYS) and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Constantia Township, Oswego County, New York.  His real estate was valued at $1,500 and his personal property was valued at $750.  The household also included his wife, Hannah D. Danforth, age 29 (b. NYS); son, Marshall J. Danforth, age 10 (b. NYS); daughter, Martha Danforth, age 8 (b. NYS); daughter, Lavina A. Danforth, age 6 (b. NYS); daughter, Alice M. Danforth, age 4 (b. NYS); and daughter, Lucy A. Danforth, age 2 (b. NYS).

 

1880 US Census: Wm Danforth, age 50 (b. NYS; father b. MA; mother b. NYS) and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Constantia Township, Oswego County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Hannah D. Danforth, age 39 (b. NYS; father b. France; mother b. NYS); son, Marshall Danforth, age 20 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS), single, and employed as a farmer; daughter, Lovina Danforth, age 16 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS) and single; daughter, Allice Danforth, age 13 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS); daughter, Lucey Danforth, age 11 (b.  NYS; parents b. NYS); and son, Mathew Danforth, age 2 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS).

 

1890 US Census Special Schedule for Surviving Civil War Veterans (Constantia Twp, Oswego Co., NY): William Danforth enlisted 12 August 1861; discharged 20 October 1862; reenlisted 1 September 1864; discharged 29 June 1865.

 

1900 US Census: William Danforth, age 70 (b. Apr 1830 in NYS; parents b. NYS) and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Constantia Township, Oswego County, New York.  The household also included his wife of 8 years, Katherine Danforth, age 49 (b. Ireland; parents b. Ireland), who immigrated to the US in 1852; and son, Mathew Danforth, age 22 (b. Aug 1877 in NYS; parents b. NYS), single, and employed as a day laborer.

 

1905 NYS Census: William Danforth, age 75 (b. US) and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Constantia Township, Oswego County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Katie Danforth, age 54 (b. US); and son, Mathew Danforth, age 29 (b. US) and employed as a farm laborer.

1900 US Census: Marshall Danforth, age 40 (b. Apr 1860 in NYS; parents b. NYS) and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Constantia Township, Oswego County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Eliza A. Danforth, age 39 (b. Nov 1861 in NYS; father b. NYS; mother b. Ireland), who had had 2 children, 1 of whom was still alive; and daughter, Addah L. Danforth, age 15 (b. Dec 1884 in NYS; parents b. NYS).

 

1910 US Census: Marchall J. Danforth, age 50 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS) and employed as a laborer for Solvay Process Company, was heading a household at 301 Hall Avenue in the Village of Solvay, Geddes Township, Onondaga County, New York.  The household also included his wife of 28 years, Eliza A. Danforth, age 48 (b. NYS; father b. NYS; mother b. Ireland), who had had 2 children, 1 of whom was still alive.

 

1915 NYS Census: Marshall Danforth, age 55, was heading a household in Camillus, Onondaga County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Eliza Danforth, age 53, resided in Camillus, Onondaga County, New York. (pg 5)

 

2. Wife: Eliza A. Campbell

 

Born November 1861 in New York; daughter of Chauncey and Catherine (Boyle) Campbell.  Died 4 September 1927; interred North Syracuse Cemetery.

 

1925 NYS Census: Eliza Danforth, age 63 (b. US) resided in Cicero, Onondaga County, New York.
