2.  Ruth’s birth: 18 August 1916 on the family farm between Evans Mills and LeRaysville, Jefferson County, New York.

 

Ruth’s death: 10 September 2003 in a nursing facility (Waterman Village at Mr. Dora), Mt. Dora, Lake County, Florida from complications of pancreatitis, including dehydration; cremated remains were interred in Pensacola Memorial Gardens, Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida.

c. Ruth met her 2nd husband, Robert “Bob” Dailey, at Westwood Retirement Resort, where Ruth, Bob, and Bob’s 1st wife all resided and where they shared the same dinner table.

1920 US Census: Ruth was age 3 ½ and living with her parents in LeRay Township, New York.

 

1930 US Census: Ruth H. Drake, age 13, resided with her parents in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.

 

1940 US Census: Truman Rowell, age 30 (b. NYS) and employed as a gas station attendant, was heading a household at 70 Evergreen Street in the City of Rochester, Monroe County, New York.  He had completed 1 year of college.  The household also included his wife, Ruth Rowell, age 23 (b. NYS), who had completed 1 year of college; and brother-in-law, Wolcoww Drake, age 20 (b. NYS), single, and employed as a general clerk in a foundry office, who had completed 4 years of high school.  On 1 April 1935 Truman resided in the same city, whereas Ruth and Wolcoww resided in Jefferson County, New York.
