1920 US Census: Henry, age 70 (b. England, as were his parents, immigrated to the United States in 1869, naturalized 1891) and employed as a dairy farmer, was heading a household on Smithville Road, Adams Center, Adams Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Jane Gale (age 68 (b. England, as were her parents), immigrated from England 1869, naturalized 1891); and daughter, Sarah M. Gale (age 27, single, b. NYS, parents b. England).

 

1930 US Census: Jane Gale, age 79 (b. England, as were her parents; immigrated to the US in 1869; naturalized), widowed, married 1st age 22, not employed; was living (apparently) alone and heading a household on Talcott Stand Road in Adams Township, Jefferson County, New York.

 

Henry Gale married Jane (?) (b. abt 1852 in England; immigrated 1869; d. abt 2 Jan 1934, age 85; interred Adams Rural Cem., Adams, NY), probably in England, and had at least the following daughter:

 

a. Sarah M. Gale: Born about 1893 in New York State.

England) and employed as a plumber, was heading a household on Clay Street in the Village of Adams, Adams Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Annie Gale (age 29, b. NYS, as were her parents); and daughter, Dorothy Gale (age 16).

 

Frank Gale married Anna “Annie” L. (?) (b. abt 1891, d. abt 25 Jan 1925, age 33; interred Adams Rural Cem.) and had at least the following daughter:

 

a. Dorothy Gale: Born about 1904 in New York State.

NYS) and employed as a river boat operator, was heading a household on Franklin Street in Clayton Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Alvaretta Gale (age 41, b. NYS, as were her parents); and son, George W. Gale (age 13).

 

William W. Gale married Alvarette/Alveretta (?) (b. abt 1879, d. 1941; interred Black River Cem.) and had at least the following son:

MA), married 1st age 26, was heading a household in Adams Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Nellie Gale (age 56, married 1st age 18, b. NYS, as were her parents); son, Roy Gale (age 28, single); daughter, Marion Gale (age 17, single); and granddaughter, Elsie Gale (age 10 months; b. NYS, as were her parents).

 

George M./N. Gale married Nellie (?) (b. 20 Dec 1873, d. 1946; interred Depauville Cem.) on 14 January 1892 and, perhaps, had the following children:
