Born 18 December 1838 in Randolph County, North Carolina.  Died 2 March 1921; interred Newton Burial Park, Nevada, Vernon County, Missouri.  Veteran of the American Civil War; served as a Private in Company 4 of the Ohio Volunteer Cavalry Regiment; pension awarded to his widow effective 8 March 1921.  Was a Justice of the Peace (officiated at the marriage of his daughter, Lucretia).

Born about 1898.  At age 51, when a resident of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, married, as his 2nd wife, Patrick Gossett, age 63 and a resident of Monmouth, Warren County, Illinois, on 19 October 1949 (license issued same day) in Saline County, Arkansas.

 

1   Virginia "Ginny" M./Rose Gossett:

 

Born 16 January 1920 in South Dakota.  Died 20 October 2000.  Married Wolcott Edgar Drake, generation 12, descendant #2 of the Descendants of Charles Briant Drake.
