Born March 1873 at South Glens Falls, Warren County, New York.  Died 12 October 1947 at Greeley, Colorado.  Married Libbie A. Waful, paragraph 3.d. of generation 4 of the Waful Annex on 10 January 1894.

1. Albert Haveland: Born about 1806.  Resided in Theresa Township, Jefferson County, New York.  Married Lucy (?) (b. abt 1807 in VT) and had the following children:

 

1860 US Census: Albert, age 54, b. NYS, and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Theresa Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Lucy Haveland (age 53, b. VT); Joseph Haveland (age 26, b. NYS, perhaps Albert’s son); Edith Haveland (age 26, b. NYS, probably Joseph’s wife); and Mary E. Haveland (age 2, b. NYS, probably Joseph’s daughter).

 

a. Joseph Haveland: Born about 1834.  Married Edith (?) (b. abt 1834) and had the following daughter:

 

(1. Mary E. Haveland: Born about 1858.

  

2. Hiram F. Haviland: Born about 1834.  Employed as a farmer.  Resided in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.  Married Eunice (?) (b. abt 1833) and had the following children:

 

1850 US Census: Hiram F. Haviland, age 16 (b. NYS), resided in the household headed by Joseph Child, age 65, b. PA, and employed as a farmer next door to the residences of Samuel and Joseph Child in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included Joseph’s wife, Lois Child (age 65, b. NYS); Joseph’s daughter, Hannah Child (age 31, b. NYS); and, presumably, Hiram’s older brother, Stephen Haviland (age 19, b. NYS).

 

1870 US Census: Hiram, age 36 and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in LeRay Township.  The household also included his wife, Eunice Haveland (age 37); daughter, Phebe E. Haveland (age 10); son, Amos Haveland (age 9/7); son, Joseph Haveland (age 3); son, Byron Haveland (age 2 months); and Hannah Child (age 56, employed as a house keeper).  All were born in New York State.

PA, and employed as a farmer next door to the residences of Samuel and Joseph Child in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included Joseph’s wife, Lois Child (age 65, b. NYS); Joseph’s daughter, Hannah Child (age 31, b. NYS); and, presumably, Stephen’s older brother, Hiram F. Haviland (age 19, b. NYS).
