1875 NYS Census: Edwin Hungerford, age 65 (b. Jefferson Co., NY), widowed, and employed in a grocery store, was heading a household in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his daughter, Ella J. Hungerford, age 26 (b. Jefferson Co., NY) and single.

NYS) and employed as a retail hardware merchant, was heading a household on LeRay Street in the Village of Evans Mills, LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his (2nd) wife of 9 years, Ida D. Hungerford, age 46 (b. NYS), who had had 2 children, both still alive and had been married twice; step-daughter, Ada M. De La Fleur, age 25 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS); and step-daughter, Dina G.
