Born 6 December 1866 in Ontario, Canada. Died 31
March 1956 at Watertown, Jefferson County, New York; interred there in North
Watertown Cemetery.
1900 US Census: Henry V. Joyce, age 33 (b. Dec 1866
in Canada; parents b. Canada) and employed as a carriage maker, was heading a
household at 24 Grant Street in the City of Watertown, Watertown Township,
Jefferson County, New York. He
immigrated to the US in 1887 and was a naturalized citizen. The household also included his wife of 13
years, Alice Joyce, age 29 (b. Jul 1870 in Canada; parents b. Canada), who
immigrated to the US in 1887 and had had 3 children, all still alive; son,
Harold Joyce, age 11 (b. Dec 1888 in NYS) and in school; son, Frank Joyce, age
8 (b. Jul 1891 in NYS); and son, Clifford Joyce, age 6 (b. Oct 1893 in NYS).
1905 NYS Census: Henry V. Joyce, age 38, was heading
a household on Pleasant Road in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New
York. The household also included his
wife, Alice O. Joyce, age 34; son, Harold L. Joyce, age 16; son, Frank Joyce,
age 14; son, Clifford Joyce, age 11; and daughter, Grace Joyce, age 3.

Born 23 July 1870 at Ernestown, Lennox and Addington Counties, Ontario, Canada; daughter of Asahel Rockwell and Fanny (Mills) Hogle. Died 1 October 1957; interred with
Henry. Immigrated to
the US in 1887.

Born 6 October 1893 at Watertown, Jefferson County,
New York. Died there 31 January 1952; interred there in
North Watertown Cemetery. In 2000
resided at Rochester, New York.
1910 US Census: Cliford Joice, age 17, was boarding in the household headed by
Frances L. Rudey, age 34 (b. NYS) at 279 State Street
in the City of Watertown, Jefferson County, New York.
1917 WWI Draft Registration: Clifford Joyce, age 23
(b. 6 Oct 1893 at Watertown, Jefferson Co., NY), single, and employed as a
farmer for Fred Switzer, resided at RFD 4, Carthage, Champion Township,
Jefferson County, New York.
1920 US Census: No record found.
1930 US Census: Clifford Joyce, age 36 (b. NYS;
parents b. English speaking Canada) and employed as a salesman for a product
corporation, was heading a household at 1154 Boyd Street in the City of
Watertown, Jefferson County, New York.
He was married at age 35, and his home was valued at $8,000. The household also included his wife, Amy
Joyce, age 31 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS), who was married at age 30, and was
employed as a junior high school teacher.
1940 US Census: Clifford Joyce, age 46 (b. NYS) and
employed as an oil company salesman, was heading a household on RFD2, State
Route, Watertown Township, Jefferson County, New York. His home was valued at $3,000; he had
completed 8th grade, and he live in the same place on 1 April 1935. The household also included his wife, Amy
Joyce, age 42 (b. NYS), who had completed 3 years of college; daughter, Barbara
Joyce, age 8 (b. NYS), who had completed 3rd grade; and daughter, Mary Joyce,
age 5 (b. NYS).
1942 WWII Draft Registration: Clifford Joyce, age 48
(b. 6 Oct 1893 at Watertown, Jefferson Co., NY) and employed maintaining
utilities on Pine Camp, resided with his wife at 123 Maple Street in the
Village of Black River, LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.
1950 US Census: H. V. Joyce, age 84 (b. Canada) and
owner of a gas and oil filling station, was heading a household at 63 Gifford
Street Road in the City of Watertown, Jefferson County, New York. The household also included his wife, Alice
Joyce, age 80 (b. Canada); son, Clifford Joyce, age 56 (b. NYS) and widowed,
with no record of employment; and granddaughter, Mary A. Joyce, age 15 (b.
NYS).

Born 5 September 1898 in Philadelphia Township, Jefferson County, New
York; daughter of Jerome
Charles and Mary E. (West) Frost. Died there 1943; interred with Clifford. At age 30, while employed as a school
teacher, married Clifford Joyce, age 35 (license issued 12 Jun 1929) in
Jefferson County, New York.

Watertown, Jefferson County, New York.
Died 31 May 2007 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, Onondaga
County, New York; interred North Watertown Cemetery, Watertown, Jefferson
County, New York. Resided
last at Baldwinsville, Onondaga County, New York. Married Robert Gamage
(d. 2003) and had the following children:

# 1 of generation 10 of the Descendants of Courtney
Smith Bryant on 20 October 1962.
