Born about 1834.  Died .  Employed as a farmer.  Resided last at Adams, Jefferson County, New York.

 

1870 US Census: John Lewis, age 36 and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Elizabeth Lewis, age 33; daughter, Estella Lewis, age 13; son, George Lewis, age 11; daughter, Anna Lewis, age 9; son, Frank Lewis, age 6; son, Fred Lewis, age 4; and daughter, Jennie Lewis, age 2.

 

2. Wife: Elizabeth A. (?)

 

Born about 1836/37.  Died .

1900 US Census: Fred Lewis, age 34 (b. Apr 1866) and employed as a Methodist-Episcopal clergyman, was heading a household in Antwerp Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Fanny Lewis, age 26 (b. May 1874).  Both were born in New York State.
