The household also included her father, William McCallops, age 45 (b. NYS), who had completed 8th grade; mother, Mertal McCallops, age 44 (b. NYS), who had completed 8th grade; brother, Estes McCallops, age 22 and employed as a carpenter, who had completed 4 years of high school; sister, Ruth McCallops, age 13, who had completed 7th grade; brother, Rolland McCallops, age 18, who had completed 2 years of high school; sister, Delores McCallops, age 17, who had completed 2 years of high school; and cousin, James Stand (sp), age 53, single, and employed as a mason, who had completed 3 years of high school.

c. Rolland Frank McCallops: (more info) Born 23 June 1921 at Watertown, Jefferson County, New York. Died Sunday, 18 December 1994; interred St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Fine, New York. Graduated from Watertown High School, Watertown. Veteran of World War II; served in the Army Air Corps. Employed 41 years at Newton Falls Paper Mills, retiring 28 June 1987 as a switchboard operator. Resided in the Star Lake, New York area until moving last to reside with his daughter, Stella. Married (1st) Lula F. Allen (b. 10 Aug 1918 at Natural Bridge, NY, d. 12 Apr 1984, age 65, at A. Barton Hepburn Hospital, Ogdensburg; interred East DeKalb Cem.), daughter of George and Sadie (Salmon) Allen, on 31 December 1940 at Fine/Edwards, New York and had the following children: (order uncertain)

(2. Paul Eugene McCallops: Born 8 October 1949 at Newton Falls, New York. Died 13 September 1994 in the Clifton-Fine Hospital, Star Lake from complications of heart failure; he had had a heart transplant 2 May 1988 at North Carolina Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill. Employed as a plumber in North Carolina. In 1984 resided in South Carolina. Married Diane J. Prashaw (b. 5 Nov 1957 at Gouverneur, St. Lawrence Co., NY, d. 21 Apr 2009 at SUNY University Hospital, Syracuse, NY; interred St. Michael's Cem., Fine, NY), daughter of Charles and Geneva N. (Schofell) Prashaw, on 17 December 1977 in the Gouverneur United Methodist Church and had the following children:

Rolland F. McCallops separated from his 1st wife, and shortly after her death, he married (2nd) Stella A. Crandall on 25 May 1984.

e. Ruth M. McCallops: Born about 1926. Married (?) White and in 1994 resided at South Mills, New York.

 

11. Roscoe E. McCallops: Of Syracuse in 1929. Arrested north of Chatteaugay for boot legging beer.

 

12. Leonard E. McCallops: Of Philadelphia, where he ran Philadelphia Motors on Route 11, before moving to Titusville, Florida. In 1975 with wife and Mrs. Doris McCallops (wife of Royal McCallops) vacationed in Florida. Leonard's sister: Mrs. Ellen Couch of Louisville, Kentucky.
