Born 1785 in Canada (also seen: b. 1785 at Newburgh, Orange Co., NY); daughter of William and Abigail (Stoddard) Denton; granddaughter of Joseph Denton and Zebulon Stoddard; and great granddaughter of Richard Denton.  Died 18 April 1843 in Peru Township, Clinton County, New York.  Married Samuel Sprague on 10 October 1803 in New York.
