1900 US Census: James Wagner, age 46 (b. Nov 1854 in NYS; parents b. NYS) and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Philadelphia Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his wife of 22 years, Emma Wagner, age 44 (b. Sep 1856 in NYS; parents b. NYS), who had had 3 children, all still alive; son, Harry Wagner, age 20 (b. Feb 1880 in NYS), single, and employed as a farm laborer; daughter, Blanch Wagner, age 15 (b. Aug 1884 in NYS) and in school; and daughter, Ethel Wagner, age 14 (b. Jan 1886 in NYS) and in school.

 

1910 US Census: James Wagoner, age 56 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS) and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Philadelphia Township, Jefferson County, New York.  He had been married once.  The household also included his wife of 31 years, Emma Wagoner, age 53 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS), who had had 4 children, 3 of whom were still alive; daughter, Ethel Wagoner, age 23 (b. NYS), single, and employed as a school teacher; hired man, William Scramp, age 29 (b. NYS) and employed as a farm laborer; and servant, Evelyn Pretty, age 17 (b. NYS), single, and employed by a private family.

Germany) and mother of 7; daughter, Marrion Waggoner, age 16 (b. Jefferson Co., NY) and single; son, George Waggoner, age 15 (b. Jefferson Co., NY); daughter, Margaret Waggoner, age 11 (b. Jefferson Co., NY); daughter, Catherine Waggoner, age 9 (b. Jefferson Co., NY); daughter, Anna Waggoner, age 6 (b. Jefferson Co., NY); son, Frank Waggoner, age 3 years and 6 months (b. Jefferson Co., NY) and mother of 1; and son, John K. Waggoner, age 1 year and 5 months (b. Jefferson Co., NY).  Under the same roof, Adam Forbs, age 57 (b. Herkimer Co., NY) and employed as a farmer, was heading a separate household.  That household also included his wife, Dorothy Forbs, age 49 (b. Herkimer Co., NY) and mother of 6; and daughter, Mary E. Forbs, age 7 (b. Jefferson Co., NY).

 

Addison Waggoner married Fannie Forbes and had at least the following children:

 

a. Floyd A. Waggoner: (more info) Born 9 February 1884 in Orleans Township, Jefferson County, New York.  Died 14 April 1944 at home in Evans Mills; interred Evans Mills Cemetery.  Organized and conducted "Waggoner's Band" (photos) in the Village of Evans Mills.  Married Pearl Steinhilber of Evans Mills on 3 June 1904 at Evans Mills and had the following children:

 

(1. Sterling A. Waggoner: Took over and ran the grocery store his father founded on Main Street in the Village of Evans Mills.

 

(2. Francis Waggoner: Served in the US Army.

 

(3. Margaret Waggoner: Married Walter Michels and in 1944 resided at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

 

b. Female: Married Herbert Hutchinson.
