Wood, age 30 (b. NYS), who had completed 2 years of high school.  The both resided in the same city on 1 April 1935.  Of interest, the household headed by Henry C. Thursam, age 55, was enumerated almost next door.

 

Edward Wood married Geraldine P. Thursom (d. Mar 1969), daughter of Henry C. and Christine M. (Bourassa) Thursom, on 13 November 1937.

NYS), who was married 1st at age 19; and son, Ernest Wood, Jr., age 1 year and 1 month (b. NYS).

 

1940 US Census: Ernest Woods, age 36 (b. NYS) and employed as a laborer in a plastic works, was heading a household at 816 Walsh Road in the City of North Tonawanda, Niagara County, New York.  He had completed 4 years of high school, and resided in the same house on 1 April 1935.  The household also included his wife, Grace Woods, age 30 (b. NYS), who had completed 3 years of high school; and son, Ernest Woods, age 11 (b. NYS).

 

Ernest married Grace P. Wilson (more info) (b. 10 May 1910, d. 25 May 1996), daughter of Allen D. and Jessie (Darling) Wilson, on 28 January 1928 and had the following children:
