1850 US Census: Thaddeus Woolworth, age 68 (b. NYS) and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Pinckney Township, Lewis County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Hannah Woolworth, age 65 (b. NYS); daughter, Lucy Woolworth, age 27 (b. NYS); and grandson, Charles Hunt, age 12 (b. NYS).  Of interest, the households headed by Timothy Woolworth, age 64 (b. CT) and employed as a farmer and Phineus Woolworth, age 33 (b. NYS) and employed as a farmer, were enumerated on the same census page.

NYS) and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Cape Vincent Township, Jefferson County, New York.  His real estate was valued at $1,700.  The household also included his wife, Electa A. Clement, age 31 (b. NYS); and son, Chester P. Clement, age 5 (b. NYS).

 

1855 NYS Census: Everrett Clements, age 42 (b. Lewis Co., NY) and employed as , was heading a household in Cape Vincent Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his son, Chester L. Clements, age 10 (b. Jefferson Co., NY); daughter, Jane A. Clements, age 2 (b. Jefferson Co., NY); and sister-in-law, Eliza Shear, age 45 (b. Lewis Co., NY).

 

1860 US Census: Evirett Clement, age 47 (b. NYS) and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Cape Vincent Township (Cape Vincent Post Office), Jefferson County, New York.  His real estate was valued at $3,000, an his personal property was valued at $2,500.  The household also included his wife, Emily Clement, age 36 (b. NYS); son, Chester Clement, age 15 (b. NYS); daughter, Adalaide Clement, age 7 (b. NYS); daughter, Mary Clement, age 3 (b. NYS); unnamed son, age 2? months (b. NYS); and sister-in-law, Eliza Shear, age 50 (b. NYS).

 

Electa Woolworth married, as his 1st wife, Everett Clements (b. 22 Dec 1812 in Lewis Co., NY, d. 6 Mar 1889), son of Peter and Lydia (McBride) Clements, and had the following children:

 

(1. Chester P. Clements: Born April 1845 in Jefferson County, New York.  Died 16 October 1867.

 

(2. Jane Adelaide Clements "Adelaide": Born about 1853 in Jefferson County, New York.

CT); daughter, Rhoda Woolworth, age 30 (b. NYS); son, James Woolworth, age 27 (b. NYS) and employed as a farmer; perhaps daughter-in-law, Rosalina Woolworth, age 25 (b. NYS); perhaps grandson, Taylor Woolworth, age 6 months; and Scott Sampson, age 17 (b. NYS) and employed as a laborer.

MA) and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Pinckney Township, Lewis County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Katy Woolworth, age 77 (b. Oneida Co., NY), who had had 6 children; and daughter, Rhoda Woolworth, age 50 (b. Lewis Co., NY) and single.  Of interest, the household headed by James Woolworth, age 41 (b. Lewis Co., NY) was enumerated next door.
