Born 1839 at Pittsfield, New York. Died 8 January 1910 at Columbus, New York. Went to Michigan after his wife died, leaving
his daughter, Nellie, with her Aunt Dolly (Sternbergh)
Bowden to raise.
2. Wife: Martha Sternbergh
Fell into an icy vat of water and contracted
pneumonia, the complications of which precipitated her death at a relatively
young age.
3. Children:
a. Frederick “Fred” Adams.
