Born 1620 in Wiltshire, England.  Died 18 April 1700 in Connecticut.

7   Captain James Avery, Jr.

 

1. Biographical notes:

 

Born 15 December 1646 in Massachusetts.  Died 22 August 1728 in Connecticut.

 

2. Wife: Deborah Stallyon

 

Born 20 February 1649 in Connecticut, daughter of Edward (b. 1623 in Buckinghamshire, England, d. 14 May 1703 at New London, Connecticut) and Margaret (?) Stallyon (b. 1627 in Buckinghamshire, England, d. 1680 in CN).  Deborah died 27 March 1729.

1. Biographical notes:

 

Born 9 August 1691 (or 17 Apr 1692) at Groton/New London, New London County, Connecticut.  Died 27 June 1753 at Norwich, New London County, Connecticut.

 

2. Wife: Tabitha Gardiner

 

Born 1695 at Kingston, Washington County, Rhode Island, daughter of William and Elizabeth (?) Gardner.  Died after 27 June 1753.

1.  Biographical notes:

 

Born 4 December/September 1721 at Norwich, New London County, Connecticut.  Died there 1 July 1776.

4   Hannah Avery:

 

Born 14 April 1754 at Griswold, New London County, Connecticut.  Died after 1810.  Married Corporal Edward Mills, generation 4 of the Mills Annex on 24 December 1772 at Griswold, New London, Connecticut.
