1850 US Census: Moses Bailey, age 29 (b. VT) and
employed as a laborer, was heading a household in Brownhelm
Township, Lorain County, Ohio. The
household also included his wife, Abigil Bailey, age
24 (b. NH); and daughter, Myra Bailey, age 2 (b. OH).
1860 US Census: Moses E. Bailey, age 39 (b. VT) and
employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Ransom Township, Hillsdale
County, Michigan. His real estate was
valued at $600, and his personal property was valued at $524. The household also included his wife, Abigail
Bailey, age 35 (b. NH); daughter, Myron [should be Myra and female] Bailey, age
