Giarre), both of which are communes located about 25 kilometers north of the metropolitan City of Catania on the east coast of Sicily, Italy.  Died July 1978, age 83.  Immigrated to the US in 1913, departing Naples, Italy about 15 August 1913.  Became a naturalized citizen of the US on 9 April 1921.  Before marriage resided at Fulton, Oswego County, New York.  Subsequently resided at 367 S. Sixth Street in the City of Fulton Township, Oswego County, New York.  Died 28 July 1978 at Oswego Hospital, Oswego, Oswego County, New York.

1930 US Census: Anna Bonano, age 33 (b. Italy; parents b. Italy), married, and employed as a winder in a silk mill, was heading a household at 551 South First Street in the City of Fulton, Oswego County, New York.  She married 1st at age 19 [abt 1914] and immigrated to the US in 1915.  The household also included her son, Joseph Bonano, age 12 (b. NYS); and son, Santo Bonano, age 10 (b. NYS).

a. Joseph Bonano: Born about 1918 in New York.

 

b. Santo Bonano: Born about 1920 in New York.

 

7. Pasquale Bonanno: Born Italy.  Married Giobani Sarene (b. Italy) and had the following son:

 

a. Thomas Bonanno: (more info) Born about 1897 at Randazo, Italy.  Employed as a truck driver before marriage, residing at Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York.  Married Mary Helen Detota (b. Compobaso, Italy), daughter of Nenzio (b. Italy) and Raffaela (Yannatono) Detota (b. Italy) of Oswego County, New York, on 9 October 1922 in Oswego County, New York.

 

8. John Bonanno: (more info) Born 28 February 1887 at Santalfio, Sicily, Italy.  In 1917 was married and employed as a farmer in Granby Township, Oswego County, New York.

 

9. Salvadore Bonanno: Born 2 March 1883 in Italy.  In 1917 was employed as a farmer and resided in the City of Fulton, Oswego County, New York.  Married Maria (?).
