Died 15 October 1974.  Until 1971 operated the Red Mood Diner on Court Street in Watertown, Jefferson County, New York.

 

2.  Wife: Gwendolyn M. Carpenter (more info)

 

Born 16 June 1911 at Sandy Creek, Jefferson County, New York, daughter of Simon and Lillian (Knight) Carpenter of Lakeland, Florida, who also had a daughter, Gladys of Lakeland, Florida, and son, Glenn A. Carpenter of Pulaski, New York.  Died Wednesday, 18 November 1981, age 70, at Lakeland General Hospital, Lakeland, Florida; interred Pulaski Cemetery, Pulaski, Jefferson County, New York.  Graduated from Pulaski Academy.  Married Clarence J. Braman on 25 March 1961 at the Stone Street Presbyterian Church, Watertown, Jefferson County, New York.  Helped her husband operate the Red Moon Diner in Watertown.  After his death, moved to Florida.
