his daughter, Katherine in the Village of Cold Brook, Russia Township, Herkimer
County, New York from complications of Bright's
disease; interred German/Dutch Settlement Cemetery, Cold Brook, Ohio Township,
Herkimer County, New York. Emigrated
from Saxony, Germany to the United States in 1849 (also seen: 1851). Employed as a farmer. Resided in Ohio Township,
Herkimer County, New York.
Retired from farming in 1888; sold his farm to his son, Philip, Jr.
