Born 1766.  Died 1848.  Native of Dutchess County, New York.  Employed as a physician (one of the oldest in Bradford Co.); graduated from the old Medical College in York State.  Soon after 1792 moved from Wyoming County, Pennsylvania to Asylum (“Frenchtown”), Bradford County, Pennsylvania.  Practiced medicine there for a while, then moved to York State, but later returned to Asylum.
