e. Emily Cox: Married, as his 1st wife, William “Billy” Roberts and had the following children:

 

(1. Alfred Roberts: Born 1842.  Died during the Civil War; interred Hampton Roads, Virginia.

 

(2. Roxie Roberts.

 

(3. Martha Roberts: Born 1862.  Died from complications of diphtheria.

 

(4. Jesse Roberts: Born 1865.  Married William Lewis (neighbor of Anna Biles (dau of James, gr-dau of Jacob Place Biles).

 

William Roberts married (2nd) Phoebe Sutton (b. 1831, d. 1931), who resided for years near the Irvines at Homet’s Ferry, was the oldest of 15 children.

 

f. Lib Cox: Married George Sutton, a brother of Phoebe Sutton, who was the 2nd wife of her sister, Emily’s husband, William Roberts.

 

g. Almira Cox: Married (?) Vaughn and had a large family.
