Born 9 October 1834 at Cambridge, Dorchester County, Maryland.  Died 23 April 1918; interred there in Christ Episcopal Church Cemetery.

 

1870 US Census: Worthington Goldsborough, age 36 (b. MD) and employed as Paymaster in the US Navy, was heading a household in the City of Cambridge, Dorchester County, Maryland.  His real estate was valued at $12,000 and his personal property was valued at $3,000.  The household also included his wife, Nettie Goldsborough, age 28 (b. MD); son, Brice Goldsborough, age 11 (b. MD); son, Phillips L. Goldsborough, age 5 (b. MD); and son, Martin Goldsborough, age 1 (b. MD).

 

1880 US Census: M. W. Goldsborough, age 46 (b. MD; parents b. MD) and employed as a paymaster for the US Navy, was heading a household on High Street in the City of Cambridge, Dorchester County, Maryland.  The household also included his wife, Nettie M. Goldsborough, age 41 (b. MD; father b. MD; mother b. PA), who had had 3 chidlren, 2 of whom were still alive; son, Phillips L. Goldsborough, age 13 (b. MD); and son, Brice W. Goldsborough, age 7 (b. MD).  Of interest, the household headed by Martin W. Goldsborough, age 75 (b. MD), and John A. Goldsborough, age 55 (b. MD) were enumerated next door, on the same census page.

MD), widowed, and employed as Director of bank insurance deposits, was heading a household on West University Parkway in the City of Baltimore, Baltimore County, Maryland.  He had completed 2 years of college and resided in the same city in Apr 1935..

MD) and employed as a broker for a bank, was heading a household in the City of Baltimore, Baltimore County, Maryland.  His residence was valued at $25,000 and he was married 1st at age 26.  The household also included his wife, Eveline Galdeborough, age 29 (b. LA; parents b. LA), who was married 1st at age 22; son, Phillip L. Galdeborough, III, age 5 (b. MD); son, Fenner Galdeborough, age 3 (b. MD); daughter, Nancy Galdeborough, age 1 year and 6 months (b. MD); servant, Nora Thorton, age 26 (b. Irish Free State); and servant, Mary Kearncy, age 31 (b. MD), who was married 1st at age 21.
