Born about 1858 in New York; daughter of Lester and Caroline (Doty) Nugent. Died ; interred North Watertown Cemetery, Watertown, Jefferson County, New York.

1910 US Census: Carrie Goodfriend, age 51 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS), widowed, and not employed, was heading a household at 1010 Superior Street in the City of Watertown, Jefferson County, New York. 1920 US Census: George E. Goodfriend, age 33 (b. NYS; father b. English-speaking Canada; mother b. NYS) and employed as a fireman in a pad factory, was heading a household at 855 Ann Street in the City of Watertown, Jefferson County, New York. The household also included his wife, Anna Goodfriend, age 32 (b. English-speaking Canada; parents b. 1930 US Census: Archibald Goodfriend, age 19 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS) and employed as a chauffeur for a department store, was heading a household at 665 Midland Avenue in the City of Yonkers, Westchester County, New York. He married 1st at age 18. The household also included his wife, Ethel Goodfriend, age 19 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS), who married 1st at age 18; and daughter, Barbara Goodfriend, age less than 1 months (b. NYS).

1940 US Census: Archie R. Goodfriend, age 28 (b. NYS) and employed as a machinist for the NY Airbrake Company, was heading a household at 754 Davidson Street in the City of Watertown, Jefferson County, New York. He had completed 8th grade.
