Orange County, Vermont. He immigrated to
the US in 1904, subsequently becoming a naturalized citizen,
and he married 1st at age 18. The
household also included his wife, Violet M. Harford, age 28 (b. ME; parents b.
England), who married 1st at age 17; son, Frederick Harford, age 10 (b. MA);
daughter, Beatrice Harford, age 9 (b. MA); Doris Harford, age 8 (b. MA);
daughter, Florence Harford, age 7
(b. MA); son, Herbert Harford, age 5 (b. RI); and son, Ernest Harford, age 4
(b. RI).

US Census: Fred C. Harford, age 39 (b. England) and employed as a laborer for
the US Forest Service, was heading a household in Brookfield, Brookfield
Township, Orange County, Vermont. He had
completed 8th grade. The household also
included his wife, Violet M. Harford, age 38 (b. ME), who had completed 8th
grade; son, Fred G. Harford, age 20 (b. MA), single, and employed as a laborer
for the US Forest Service, who had completed 2 years of high school; daughter,
Doris V. Harford, age 18 (b. MA) and single, with no occupation recorded, who
had completed 3 years of high school; daughter, Florence G. Harford, age 17 (b. MA) and single, who had completed 2
years of high school; son, Herbert F. Harford, age 15 (b. RI); and son, Ernest
R. Harford, age 14 (b. RI). They resided
in the same township on 1 April 1935.

the City of Medford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.
