England. Died after 7 October 1651 at
Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony.
Immigrated to America by 1633, when he is included in the Colony's tax
list. Served as Marshall there from 4
December 1638 to at least 1643.

Died 18 August 1650 at Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Married John Holmes about 1636 at Plymouth,
Massachusetts

a. John Holmes, Jr.: Born about 1636 at Plymouth,
Massachusetts Bay Colony. Died July
1697. Married (1st) Patience Faunce (b.
abt 1641 at Plymouth, d. between 1678 and 1681), sister of Mercy (Fauncy)
Holmes, generation 12, below, on 20 November 1661 at Plymouth and had 6
children. Married (2nd) Patience
(Bonham) Willis (d. 24 Jul 1724), widow of Richard Willis, about 1681 and had 5
children.

Born 1643 at Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay
Colony. Died there 25 July 1727, age 84.
2. Wife: Mercy/Marcy Faunce
Born 10 April 1651 at Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay
Colony, daughter of John (b. 1608 at Purleigh, Essex Co., England, d. 1653)
and Patience (Morton) Faunce (b. 1614/16 at Leyden, So. Holland, Netherlands, d.
1691) (both of whom immigrated to America in 1623 aboard the sailing ship
"Ann/Anne". Died at Plymouth
11 February 1731, age 80. Married
Nathaniel Holmes on 29 December 1667 at Plymouth.

Colony. Died there 3 December 1753.
2. Wife: Sarah Bartlett
Born 1675 at Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony,
daughter of Joseph (b. 1639/38 at Plymouth, MA, d. there 18 Feb 1711)
and Hannah (Pope) Bartlett (b. 17 Aug 1639/38 at Plymouth, MA, d. 1710). Died there 4/24 July 1714. Married Elisha in 1645 at Plymouth.
