c. Margaret “Maggie” Hoover: (perhaps) Born 22 January 1854.  Died 17 October 1898.  Married Festus C. Bacon (b. 19 Jul 1855, d. 14 Aug 1925; interred Frenchtown Cem) and when first married, resided in the large, old (in 1848) house by the brook west of the Gorden Cemetery (“old cemetery”) in Asylum, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.  Festus and Margaret had the following children:


(1. Nellie Bacon.


(2. Mame Bacon.


(3. Bertha Bacon: Reported to be a very attractive girl.  Brought up by her aunt, Mary Hoover (“Aunt Mae”), probably the sister of her mother, Margaret (Hoover) Bacon.  Bertha married Hanford “Ed” Russell and had the following son:


(a. Hanford G. Russell: Born 1900.  Died 1976, age 75.  Married, as her 1st husband, Isabelle Adams (b. abt 1905) and had the following children:


(1) Dawn Russell: Thought to have settled near Ithaca, Cayuga County, New York.


(2) Valerie Russell: Resided at Binghamton, Broome County, New York.


(3) Dale Russell: Resided in Tioga Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.


Following Hanford’s death, Isabelle (Adams) Russell married (2nd) Clifton Chamberlain in June 1980 and resided on Peace Creek Road, Tioga Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.

Born 2 March 1846 in Pike County, Pennsylvania.  Died 21 November 1916.  Married Helen Marr Biles, paragraph 4.C.2. of the Jacob Place Biles page, on 15 May/June 1873.
