1900 US Census: Henry V. Joyce, age 33 (b. Dec 1866 in
Canada; parents b. English Canada) and employed as a carriage maker, was
heading a household at 24 Grant Street in the City of Watertown, Jefferson
County, New York. He immigrated to the
US in 1887 and was naturalized. The
household also included his wife of 13 years, Alice Joyce, age 29 (b. Jul 1870
in Canada; parents b. English Canada), who immigrated to the US in 1887 and had
had 3 children, all still alive; son, Harold Joyce, age 11 (b. Dec 1888 in
NYS); son, Frank Joyce, age 8 (b. Jul 1891 in NYS) and son, Clifford Joyce, age
7 (b. Oct 1893 in NYS).
1905 NYS Census: Henry V. Joyce, age 38, was heading
a household on Pleasant Road in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New

1910 US Census: Cliford Joice, age 17, was boarding in the household headed by
Frances L. Rudey, age 34 (b. NYS) at 279 State Street
in the City of Watertown, Jefferson County, New York.
1930 US Census: Clifford Joyce, age 36 (b. NYS;
parents b. English speaking Canada) and employed as a salesman for a product
corporation, was heading a household at 1154 Boyd Street in the City of
Watertown, Jefferson County, New York.
He was married at age 35, and his home was valued at $8,000. The household also included his wife, Amy
Joyce, age 31 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS), who was married at age 30, and was
employed as a junior high school teacher.
