1860 US Census: Simon, age 88 and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included Caroline (sp) Keller (age 26); and William Keller (age 6).  All were born in New York State.

a. Jacob Keller: (perhaps) Born about 1794. Died 25 September 1873, age 80 years, 11 months, and 14 days; interred Hoover Cemetery, LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York. Employed as a farmer in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.

1840 US Census: Jacob, age 40 to 50, was heading a household in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York. The household also included 2 males under age 5; 1 age 5 to 10; 1 male age 10 to 15; 1 male age 15 to 20; 1 male age 20 to 30; 1 female age 5 to 10; 1 female age 10 to 15; 1 female 20 to 30; and 1 female age 40 to 50.

1850 US Census: Jacob, age 56 and employed as a farmer, was born in NYS and heading a household in LeRay Township. Other members of the household included his wife, Nancy Keller (age 54, b. NYS); son, Aaron Keller (age 24, b. NYS); son, Simon Keller (age 23, b. NYS); daughter, Rosina Keller (age 20, b. NYS); son, William Keller (age 18, b. NYS); and son, Joseph Keller (age 16, b. NYS).

1860 US Census: Jacob, age 65 and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included Aaron Keller (age 35, employed as a farmer); Louisa Keller (age 25) (probably Aaron’s wife); Hiram Keller (age 4); William Keller (age 25, employed as a farmer); and Eliza A. Morrison (age 16, employed as a servant.  All were born in New York State.

Jacob Keller married Nancy Petrie (d. 13 Sep 1854, age 56 yrs, 7 mo., 26 days; interred with Jacob) and had the following children:

1870 US Census: Simon, age 43 and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York. The household also included his wife, Caroline Keller, age 35; son, William H. Keller, age 15; and daughter, Clara Ann, age 12.

Simon Keller married Caroline (?) (b. abt 1835) and had the following children:

Employed 18 years at Calcium, Jefferson County by Madison Cooper. In 1927 moved to Evans Mills to work for F. X. Baumert & Company, Inc.
