Born 17 June 1779 at Lasselsville, Montgomery County, New York.  Died 14 May 1872 at Three Mile Bay, Jefferson County, New York; interred Putnam Cemetery, Jefferson County, New York.  In 1850, 1860, and 1870 resided in Lyme Township, Jefferson County, New York.

 

2. Wife: Lucretia Noble

 

Born 1783 in Oppenheim Township, Fulton County, New York.  Died 4 July 1838 in Lyme Township, Jefferson County, New York.

 

3. Children:

 

a. Dorothy Putnam: Born 3 August 1805 at Lasselsville, Montgomery County, New York.  Died 20 September 1852 in Lyme Township, Jefferson County, New York.

 

1850 US Census: Thomas Klock, age 46 (b. NYS) and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Lyme Township, Jefferson County, New York.  His real estate was valued at $2,100.  The household also included his wife, Dorothy Klock, age 44 (b. NYS); son, George H. Klock, age 22 (b. NYS) and employed as a laborer; and daughter, Delia Ann Klock, age 15 (b. NYS).

 

Dorothy married (as his 1st wife) Thomas A. Klock (b. 30 Apr 1803 in Palatine Twp, Montgomery Co., NY, bapt. 8 May 1803 at Stone Arabia, Montgomery Co., NY, d. 5 Nov 1887 in Lyme Twp, Jefferson Co., NY; interred Putnam Cem, Lyme Twp) in 1828.  In 1850, 1860, and 1870 Thomas resided in Lyme Township, Jefferson County, New York.  In 1880 he resided at near-by Three Mile Bay.  Dorothy and Thomas had the following children:

(2. Delia Klock.

 

Thomas A. Klock married 2nd Catherine Sponable and had the following children:

f. Jacob Putnam: Born 1 February 1818 at St. Johnsville, Montgomery County, New York.  Died 8 February 1901 in Clayton Township, Jefferson County, New York.

 

g. Nancy Putnam: Born 28 July 1820 at Ft. Plain, Montgomery County, New York.  Died 1855 at Three Mile Bay, Jefferson County, New York.

 

h. Aaron Putnam: Born 29 March 1823 at Ft. Plain, Montgomery County, New York.  Died 17 February 1898 at Three Mile Bay, Jefferson County, New York.

 

i. Lucretia Putnam: Born 1827 in Montgomery County, New York.
