April 1970, age 86, at Mercy Hospital, Watertown, Jefferson County; interred
Parish Road Cemetery, Pamelia Township (almost no grey hair). Attended Pamelia Township schools. Married Fred Eugene Riordan on 11 March 1903
at the Evans Mills Methodist Church, with Reverend W. S. Tisdale officiating.

Died 16 August 2007, age 95, in Pamelia Township; interred there in the
Parish Road Cemetery.

F. Riordan, age 27 (b. NYS) and employed as a condenser operator in a milk plant,
was heading a household in the Village of Evans Mills, LeRay Township,
Jefferson County, New York. He had
completed 3 years of high school and resided in the same place in April 1935. The household also included his wife,
Elizabeth Riordan, age 25 (b. NJ), who had completed 3 years of college; and
son, Robert F. Riordan, age 1 (b. NYS).
Robert Fred Riordan
married Elizabeth "Betty" Harriet Curtis (photos) (b. 1914, d. 29 Mar
2008), daughter of Henry and Matilda (?) Curtis), on 27 March 1937 in the
Methodist-Protestant Church parsonage, Stone Mills, New York and resided at
Pamelia, Jefferson County, New York.
Elizabeth graduated from the Potsdam Normal School in 1936 and taught 5th
grade in local schools until 1974.
Initially after
marriage Robert and Elizabeth resided at Antwerp, where Robert worked for the
Borden Milk Products Company. Later they
moved to Evans Mills, where Robert continued to work for Borden, eventually
becoming Plant Superintendant. In 1959
Robert and his family moved to Syracuse, where Robert was employed as Plant
Manager of the Borden Research Center, retiring there in 1974. Robert and Elizabeth also owned a farm on
Parish Road, Parish, New York, where his parents lived in their latter
years. In 2000 they resided at RD #4,
Watertown, Jefferson County, New York.

(d. 2009), daughter of Garrett and Veronica West (d. 17 May 1964 at the home of

of Evans Mills on 20 October 1942 (same day, but different years as Ray and Mary
(Drake) Dougall, so they frequently celebrated their wedding anniversaries
