Born about 1793. Died ; interred Felts Mills Cemetery, Felts Mills, Rutland
Township, Jefferson County, New York.
1855 NYS Census: Hugh Roberts, age 62 (b. PA) and a
widower, was heading a household in Rutland Township, Jefferson County, New
York. He had resided in Rutland Township
for 2 years. The household also included
his son, Moses Roberts, age 29 (b. Jefferson Co., NY) and employed as a lawyer;
Moses' wife, Lucina Roberts, age 29 (b. Jefferson
Co., NY), who had resided in Rutland Township her whole life; Hugh's son, John
Roberts, age 22 (b. Jefferson Co., NY) and employed as a carpenter, who had
resided in Rutland Township his whole life; Calfernia
Roberts (relation to Hugh unknown), age 10 (b. Jefferson Co., NY); and Loyd Roberts (relation to Hugh unknown), age 3 (b.
Jefferson Co., NY), both of whom had resided in Rutland Township their whole
lives.
