Born 20 April 1743 at Rabke, Helmstedt, Braunsweig, Germany.  Baptized 23 April 1743 at St. Stephani, Helmstedt, Braunsweig, Germany.  Died 22 May 1816 at St. Johnsville, Montgomery County, New York; interred Glen Township, Montgomery County, New York.

 

2. Wife: Sabra Leonard

 

Born 5 May 1751 at West Springfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, daughter of Jonathan and Eleanor (Day) Leonard.  Died before 1816 at St. Johnsville, Montgomery County, New York.  Married Johann Heinrich Selter on 18 May 1780.

2. Wife: Nancy D. Bellinger

 

Born 16 July 1790 at St. Johnsville, Montgomery County, New York, daughter of Henry I. and Margaret (Nellis) Bellinger.  Died 23 February 1872 at Three Mile Bay, Jefferson County, New York; interred Fox Creek Cemetery, Lyme Township, Jefferson County, New York.

a. Josiah Selter: Born about 1805 in Palatine Township, Montgomery County, New York.

 

b. Zeviah Selter: Born about 1807 in Palatine Township, Montgomery County, New York.  Died at Darlington, Ontario, Canada.

 

c. Elizabeth Selter: Born about 1808 in Palatine Township, Montgomery County, New York.  Died 21 November 1846.  Married Henry Cline (b. 4 Apr 1804, d. 5 Jul 1875 in Lyme Twp, Jefferson Co., NY).

 

d. Mary Ann Selter: Born about 1809 in Palatine Township, Montgomery County, New York.  Baptized there 20 July 1809  Died 27 November 1890 at Downey, California.  Married Peter John DeNure.

Born 17 August 1811 at St. Johnsville, Montgomery County, New York.  Died 17 February 1898 in Lyme Township, Jefferson County, New York.

Born 1808 at Lasselsville, Montgomery County, New York..  Died 8 December 1886 at Three Mile Bay, Jefferson County, New York.
