Bernice (Timmerman) Bauter married (2nd) Harold G. Brewer.  Jerome Winfield Bauter married (2nd) Dorthy Reddy Wells (b. 25 Oct 1902 at Clayton, Jefferson Co., NY, d. 20 Apr 1969 at LaFargeville, Jefferson Co., NY), daughter of Charles Eddy and Lena (Gaskil) Wells, on 10 January 1947.

 

i. Gerald Wilson Timmerman: Born 14 May 1913 at Evans Mills, LeRay Township (also seen: b. Pamelia Twp), Jefferson County, New York.  Died 14 February 1987, age 73, at Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence County, New York; interred Oakwood Cemetery, Theresa Township, Jefferson County, New York.  Was coming of age as the great depression deepened.  Took over operation of the family dairy farm at age 18, but wasn't able to keep up with the huge work load.  So Gerald and his girl friend, Fannie Ada Dudley (who was of English ancestry), daughter of William Alfred (b. England) and Minnie Mae (Giltz) Dudley (b. US), took off in a Willis 4-cylinder car with tow behind house trailer and tried to make it to the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp in Massachusetts in hopes of leaning a trade.  When they got to the hilly region of central New York near Cherry Valley, the Willis could no longer pull the load, so Gerald left Fannie with the trailer and proceeded on to the CCC camp to enroll.  After receiving the first full meal he had had in quite a while, Gerald went back for Fannie.  Gerald actually stayed at the CCC camp well beyond the period of enrollment, learning several building trades, such as concrete, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

 

Gerald leveraged this training into a successful home building profession, spending the remainder of his working career employed in that capacity and residing in Theresa Township, Jefferson County, New York.  Was at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland during World War II, working on military equipment.

 

1940 US Census: Gerald Timmerman, age 26 (b. NYS) and employed as a carpenter by the Federal Land Bureau, was heading a household at 144 Riverside Avenue in the Village of Theresa, Theresa Township, Jefferson County, New York.  He had completed 2 years of high school, and his residence was valued at $800.  The household also included his wife, Fannie Timmerman, age 24 (b. NYS), who had completed 4 years of high school; and son, Glen Timmerman, age 6 (b. NYS), who had completed 1st grade.  They resided in the same house on 1 April 1935.

 

At age 19, while a resident of Evans Mills, Gerald W. Timmerman married Fannie Ada Dudley (b. 1 Sep 1915 in Antwerp Twp, Jefferson Co., NY, d. 2010, age 95, at Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence Co., NY; interred with Gerald), age 16, daughter of William and Minnie (Giltz) Dudley, and a resident of Theresa, who was employed as an assistant to a man who was a New York State Assemblyman before becoming an executive for the New York State Lottery, on 19 August 1932 (license issued 16 Aug 1932) in Theresa Township, Jefferson County, New York.  Gerald and Fannie had the following son:

 

(1. Glenn William Timmerman: Born about 1934 in New York.  Employed as an educator, working his way up to be a high school Principal and superintendant of a school system.  After retirement spent winters in Florida.

 

Glenn Timmerman married (1st) Donna Laemmermann, daughter of Otto and Blanche (Allen) Laemmermann, and had the following son:

 

(a. Gregory William Timmerman: Married (1st) Joan M. Nicholson, daughter of Lowell and Ethel (Race) Nicholson, and in 2010 resided in West Virginia.  Gregory and Joan had the following son:

 

(1) Geoffrey William Timmerman, Jr., MD: Married Camille M. Surface, daughter of Thomas and Rita (Pino) Surface, and had the following children:

 

(a) Keara A. Timmerman.

 

(b) Grant William Timmerman Timmerman.

 

Glenn William Timmerman, Sr. married (2nd), as her 2nd husband, Mrs. Phyllis J. (?) Richardson, who had the following children from her 1st marriage to (?) Richardson: (order uncertain)

 

(a. Sallie Richardson.

 

(b. Lloyd Richardson.

 

3   Marjorie Ann Timmerman:

 

Born 26 July 1903/04 in Jefferson County, New York.  Died 12 February 1995, age 90; interred Weedsport Rural Cemetery, Weedsport, Brutus Township, Cayuga County, New York.  At age 20, when employed as a music teacher, married John David Lorenzo Briant, paragraph 4.c.(3.(a.(2) of generation 3 of the Briant Annex on 29 March 1925 (license issued 28 Mar 1925 at Evans Mills) in the Village of Felts Mills, Rutland Township, Jefferson County, New York.
