Philadelphia Township, Jefferson County, New York. The household also included his wife of 22
years, Emma Wagner, age 44 (b. Sep 1856 in NYS; parents b. NYS), who had had 3
children, all still alive; son, Harry Wagner, age 20 (b. Feb 1880 in NYS),
single, and employed as a farm laborer; daughter, Blanch Wagner, age 15 (b. Aug
1884 in NYS) and in school; and daughter, Ethel Wagner, age 14 (b. Jan 1886 in
