1. Biographical notes:

 

Born about 1869 in New York.  Died .

 

1900 US Census: Chuck O./B. Wood, age 29 (b. Jun 1870 in NYS; parents b. NYS) and employed as a station agent, was heading a household in the Village of Black River, LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his wife of 7 years, Jennie Wood, age 30 (b. Sep 1869 in NYS), who had had 2 children, 1 of still alive; daughter, Dorus Wood, age 10 months (b. Jul 1899 in NYS); and sister, Gessege (sp) Brown, age 17 (b. Apr 1889 in NYS) and divorced, with no occupation recorded, and who had had no children.

 

1905 NYS Census: Chas B. Wood, age 36 (b. US) was heading a household on North Main Street in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Jennie J. Wood, age 37 (b. US); and daughter, Dorris L. Wood, age 5 (b. US). 

 

1910 US Census: Chas B. Wood, age 40 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS) and employed as a commercial oil salesman, was heading a household on North Main Street in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.  He had been married once.  The household also included his wife of 18 years, Jennie B. Wood, age 42 (b. NYS; father b. VT; mother b. NYS), who had been married once and had had 1 child, still alive; and daughter, Dorris L. Wood, age 10 (b. NYS).

 

1915 NYS Census: Charles B. Wood, age 46 (b. US) was heading a household in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Jessie B. Wood, age 47 (b. US); and daughter, Harry Wood, Sr., age 15. (Pg 3)

 

1920 US Census: Charles B. Wood, age 50 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS) and employed as a feed store merchant, was heading a household on Main Street in LeRay Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Jennie B. Wood, age 52 (b. NYS; parents b. NYS); and daughter, Doris L. Wood, age 20 (b. NYS) and single, who was not employed.

Born about 1868 in New York.  Died .

Born about 1899 in New York.  Died ; interred Hillside Cemetery, Antwerp Township, Jefferson County, New York.  Married (1st) Kenneth Zoller Simonet, generation 2 of the Simonet Annex about 1922.  Married (2nd) Frank C. Ripley (b. 1898, d. 1962; interred with Doris).
