NYS) and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Rutland Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Thankful Wright, age 24 (b. RI); daughter, Francis Wright, age 6 (b. NYS); daughter, Hellen Wright, age 4 (b. NYS); and son, Charles Wright, age 2 (b. NYS).

 

1855 NYS Census: Chester Wright, age 35 (b. Lewis Co., NY) and employed as a farmer, was heading a household in Rutland Township, Jefferson County, New York.  The household also included his wife, Thankful Wright, age 28 (b. Rhode Island); daughter, Frances Wright, age 11 (b. Jefferson Co., NY); daughter, Helen Wright, age 8 (b. Jefferson Co., NY); son, Charles Wright, age 6 (b. NYS) and employed as a pressman, was heading a household in the City of Auburn, Cayuga County, New York.  The household also included his wife of 4 years, Della Wright, age 29 (b. Aug 1870 in NYS; parents b. NYS), who had had 1 child, still alive; and son, Raymond Wright, age 4 (b. Nov 1896 in NYS).
